Cocoa Origin
Our cocoa comes from the Ecuadorian Amazon. Its region of origin is a warm humid tropical environment that influences its quality (ancestral record back 5,300 years domestication). It’s organic and free of pesticides, lead and cadmium, providing our consumers with confidence and well-being.
The Sacred History of Cacao
The name “cacao” is believed to have roots in the ancient languages of Mesoamerica, where it was revered as a sacred plant. The scientific name for the cacao tree, Theobroma cacao, was given by Swedish botanist Carl Linnaeus in the 18th century. Theobroma literally means “food of the gods” in Greek—reflecting the deep respect and almost mystical status cacao has held for centuries.
In ancient Maya and Aztec cultures, cacao was so highly valued that it was often reserved for royalty, priests, and warriors. It was not a treat for just anyone; it was a ceremonial drink, a symbol of prosperity, and a bridge to the spiritual world.

After harvesting, we effectively prepare the almonds through essential processes such as fermentation and drying to produce cocoa paste. We strictly adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices, guaranteeing that consumers receive only the highest quality product. This cocoa paste is expertly crafted in Ecuador and is completely free from pesticides, ready to meet global demand.
