Description

La Comarca is a natural process specialty coffee sourced from the parish of Malacatos in Loja, Ecuador. The natural drying process, where the coffee cherry is dried whole around the bean, imparts a distinctive sweetness and fruit complexity that sets La Comarca apart.

Expect rich flavour notes of caramel and tropical fruits, particularly passion fruit and babaco, a native Ecuadorian fruit prized for its aromatic qualities. The finish is sweet and lingering, refreshing and complex in equal measure. La Comarca is ideal for espresso, where its natural sweetness shines, and equally impressive as a filter or pour-over brew.
